Write a paragraph commenting on whether the sentence fluency in the broadcast worked to both inform you and hold your interest.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahhhhh I'm not sure what the broadcast is about, so it's a little hard answering that question.

OpenStudy (surryyy):

i dont either. can u make something up?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I might but did you last least see the broadcast?

OpenStudy (surryyy):

no. this is all it says Broadcasters have a fascinating set of criteria to satisfy when they produce the news. They have a limited time period in which to deliver a great deal of information, and they are in competition with other stations to make the news dramatic and riveting! Watch the evening news. Make notes about the following: How are headlines organized. Transitions within and between stories. Variation in sentence structure, length and purpose. Any other observations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, give me a few minutes and I'll try to wip something up.

OpenStudy (surryyy):

ok tysm!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The sentence fluency in the broadcast definitely worked to both inform me and hold my interest! The rhythm, flow of language, and sound was quite exceptional too. The sentences were clear, which made it easy to understand. There was also creative wording and a variety of different tones or voices. Plus I learned a lot in just a short period of time.

OpenStudy (surryyy):

Thank u so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There you go :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no prob :)

OpenStudy (surryyy):

there is also another question about this broadcast can u help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure what is it?

OpenStudy (surryyy):

Make observations about the sportscast. Do you hear the same sentence fluency here? Is there the same conscious organization in the transitions between sentences and paragraphs? How is the logical development of ideas different here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hhmmm. Give me a few moments.

OpenStudy (surryyy):

ok tyt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Compared to the broadcast, the sportscast has a far more playful tone to it. There also seems to be more interjections and higher volume. As for the conscious organization, it appears to use shorter sentences and words. The speaker also seems to be talking in a faster pace. As for a topic or logical development of ideas, the sportscast has a narrower outlet.

OpenStudy (surryyy):

Thnx so much!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no prob :3
