Sequences help. *Question attached below* Will give medal

OpenStudy (itiaax):

Can someone guide me with this problem please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did you write out the first few terms of \(u_n\)?

OpenStudy (itiaax):

No :S How do I go about doing this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[u_2\] you solve since \[u_2\times u_1=2\] and \[u_1=1\]`

OpenStudy (itiaax):

Ohhhh. Thank you. I think I can take it from here.

OpenStudy (itiaax):

Hmm, I'm having trouble with part (i) :S

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[u_1=1\\ u_2=2\] right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then since \(u_3\times u_2=2\) you get \(u_3=1\) again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in other words, this is just a silly way to write \[1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,...\]

OpenStudy (itiaax):

Yes
