WILL MEDAL AND FAN Which ordered pairs in the form (x, y) are solutions to the equation (x + 6)y = 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Choose all answers that are correct. A. (−5, 9) B. (−3, 3) C. (3, 1) D. (7, 9)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so basically you can just plug the values in as x and y. If you are lazy just do this with a calculator. I usually just go down the list until one of them makes both sides of the equation equal, in this case they both need to be 9. A B and C all make the equation equal. It surprised me that three of them worked this way, so if the answer is only supposed to be one ignore me haha. I could be wrong. I hope this helped!

I was going to say that as well

Awesome! I was hoping I was not being misleading. Thank you for the medal. @TypnoEchosis
