How do enhancers accelerate the transcription of a gene? A- RNA polymerase catalyzes the formation of transcription factors at the enhancer that migrate down the DNA double helix to the promoter, switching the gene on. B- RNA splicing cuts the enhancer out and relocates it closer to the promoter region, so the transcription factors can switch the gene on. C- The DNA molecule folds back so the enhancer and its transcription factors come in contact with the promoter region, switching the gene on. D- All of the above are correct.
