If both your father and mother have PKU disease, what are the chances that you have it? Why? I think that you will definitely have it, but I'm not sure how to explain.
@charlotte123 can you help me?
Sure, sure I can
I haven't answered any questions in ages, so bare with me if you will
Thanks. I think that if both your mom and dad have this disease, that you'll definitely get it. But I"m not sure how to explain it.
Okie doke.
The chances are pretty high; considering both your mother and father have the disease.
Would you consider that PKU is a dominate gene?
No problemo :)
that's why i'm not sure on much @Clongoria2 I don't know if this disease is dominant or recessive.
I wouldn't say definitely; there's always luck. It's just pretty much a high chance. A very high chance.
They don't say anything about it being homogeneous or heterogeneous?

Have you learned about using the mendel chart?
So if both your mother and father have this disease, there's a very high chance you could get it because both yoru father and mother have it?
your**
The Mendel chart? No.
Yup
Mhmm, sadly
Thanks for helping me guys :D
It's probably something they inherited from their mothers and fathers; thus making the chance you'll get the disease high once again
No problemo :)
