OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

Apparently instigating a discussion in an improper manner is considered "giving a direct answer". So I guess I need to work on my "discussion skills". :l - Also, is posting a link (of the same question) as an answer considered a "direct answer", if the link contains information explaining the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, if the link leads the asker to the answer, and does not just give out the answer, then no.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And I did not understand the first sentence... :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kittiwitti1

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Yes, if the link does not just give out the answer to where they can scroll down and get it, then it is not a direct answer. As for the first sentence... same as @AnswerMyQuestions

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

She is mad because i told her not give direct answers. She defend saying "All i said was "I think its Pearl Harbor". Not only a direct answer but it was wrong. The asker didn't even participate.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Thank you for clarifying @Joel_the_boss

JoelTheBoss (joel_the_boss):

No problem. @sleepyjess I knew you guys wouldn't understand so i pitched in what had happened.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

And just so you know, it is considered a direct answer, being as I got suspended for doing that.

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

I'm not mad at you Joel, but I defended* myself because that was my intention. And besides my main question *here* is if posting a link with information is considered a direct answer. That was a side inquiry. It's not complaining, that was a topic I'm open to discussing over whether my manner of conduct was inappropriate. I apologize if that appeared to be complaining.
