OpenStudy (jose_alamo32):

If an individual has an extra chromosome in every one of its cells, what mutation must have occurred? A. A non-disjunction mutation in the gamete of one of the parents B. A non-disjunction in both gametes of the parents C. A non-disjunction in one of the first gamete cells of the individual D. A non-disjunction mutation in body cells of both parents

pooja195 (pooja195):

which do you think? Any why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Akk, haven't done this in a while :p I do know that an extra chromosome would be a mutation so that probably narrows your answer down to either A or D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm leaning more towards A but I'm not 100% sure

OpenStudy (jose_alamo32):

yes it was A thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome :)
