Last one (for now) =P A certain species of tree grows an average of 0.5 cm per week. Write an equation for the sequence that represents the weekly height of this tree in centimeters if the measurements begin when the tree is 800 centimeters tall. I am thinking \(\sf a_n = 800 + .5_{(n-1)}\), but I'm really not sure.

@Kainui
Is there any answer choices?
No
@phi , one more?
Since it is growing at 5.5cm per week, the number of weeks is n, and so that part would be 5.5n. The height it grows at starts at an initial height of 8 meters, which is equivalent to 800cm, then you must add 800 to 5.5n. So its going to be hn=800+5.5n! Hope this helps! :)
