How were Indus Valley cities different from cities of other early civilizations? A. They were home to a large population. B. They were neatly planned. C. They developed near rivers. D. They were fortified with large stone walls. @BloomLocke367

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

A?

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

well what do you think?

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

A.

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

am i right???

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

well it's not b or d. Because they were very small and didn't have as grand things as the other civilizations. They were built near the river... Because they were in the Indus River Valley. There population had more than 5 million, if that's considered a lot.

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

But then again, most needed to be near rivers. So I'm pretty sure you're correct :) good job.

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

Im going with b because I studied this: http://www.ancient.eu/Indus_Valley_Civilization/

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

yes, but the question asked how they were different. Other ancient civilizations were neatly planned.

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

ok then, im going with my original answer

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

May I have a medal plz?

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

Yes. :)
