In an experiment on the photoelectric effect, a certain frequency of light produces emissions from a metal. Which observation is also possible in this experiment?
ok so you need to be more specific, but i just gonna say what i think. when the frequency of light illuminated the metal it caused emissions form a metal..... but What emissions? that would be your electrons that are "snapping" off from the metal, because it reached its threshold frequency. a photon crashes into the metal and gives all its energy to the electron allowing it to again snap off and any leftover energy is for the kinetic energy of the electron so it could move) now usually with photoelectric experiments, it will most likely look like this, attached to a voltage meter|dw:1424027183301:dw| since the electrons are travelling from (making one plate positive) and to(negative) there is gonna be an electron flow, there on your voltage meter you will see a reading.
