Hi!I was not really into maths before but i am interested now.I was trying to solve a vector problem. To find a unit vector between <2,3>.Why we have to put a √13?Probably silly question but still...hope you help me a little bit...thanks!

OpenStudy (doughnuttable):

The length of the vector <2,3> is \[\sqrt{13}\] To make it into a unit vector, divide by its length. It will point in the same direction but its length is now 1.

thanks for your help! I hope slowly-slowly to get improved at some point :)
