OpenStudy (anonymous):

absolutly :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think a Fungus is more like a plant, or more like an animal? Explain two characteristics of fungi that would support your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@CrazyKemp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on a cellular level fungi is more similar to a plant than an animal.

OpenStudy (barreraa):

Basically fungus is neither a plant nor an animal. It's part of a separate kingdom called Fungi or Monera.

OpenStudy (barreraa):

It has both plant and animal characteristic Plant Characteristic ---> Cell wall Animal Characteristic ---> Heterotrophic mode of nutrition.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes how ever fungi are more know today as being more closly related to animals so i imagine that would be the answer you are looking for :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you both!!
