To compare results , its better to use the percentage of people with each eye color instead of the number of people with each eye color. Suggest why?

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

hmmm nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one thing for sure... when you mention number, you can come to know the exact value of individual, but not a bit of the rest. But when you mention percentage, you can't get the exact value, but can predict the rest in percentage itself... example... lets say we have 100 people (not mentioned) with 70 of black colored eyes and 30 number of brown colored. Now if you know a value in number as "70 people are black colored eyed" then you can never predict the brown colored since you don't know the sum.... get it...???

OpenStudy (somy):

because its easier number of people can be millions to billions its hard use & remember such number its easier to consider total number of population as 100% and then take percentages of each eye color in that population
