I need some help on an Algebra 2 question! I don't understand how to do it at all. Please don't just give me an answer I want to know how to do it. :) define an infinite geometric series beginning value of 2 that converges to 10 what are the first 4 terms of the series?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand this so far. that under the sigma is n=2 and that above the sigma is an infinity sign.

I still don't understand it how can you solve for the first terms

Getting just the answer is cheating, very few people are likely to help you. I'd try posting it with asking for help, rather than having someone do the math for you.

I didn't just ask for the answer. And I got a hold on my math teacher who helped me. So thank you anyways, but I know how to do it now.
