Which is the equation of the given line in slope-intercept form?
\[y1-y2=m(x-x1)\]
the two things that you should look for first are the slope (m) and the y-intercept
Solve using the formula
@Soniatonia does this make sense? if you need anymore guidance on how to use the formulas, let us know!
I do need some help @TheGh0st
so you could go ahead and look at where the slope crosses the y-intercept. which is at 1
then you look at the slope itself. In this case, its going down, so the slope would be negative
Then you can find the slope using the rise over run method? have you heard of it? @Soniatonia
no
oh alright, so you see how many spaces the slope goes up over how many boxes sideways it goes
so in this case, it would be 4 over 1, which becomes plain 4
So at the end, your slope is -4 and your y-intercept is 1. So using the formula y=mx+b, what is your equation? @Soniatonia
y= -4x + 1
