Why are some right triangles called special right triangles? What are the names of the two special right triangles you discovered in step 2?

The word cosine literally means "the complement of the sine." Write a paragraph explaining how complements of sine and cosine are connected. Be sure to include a concrete example in your explanation.

OpenStudy (agl202):

Ok give me a sec to answer that!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay!

OpenStudy (agl202):

The sine and the cosine of complementary angles are the same. We could say the co-functions of complements are equal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i cant find the answer to the first one. maybe chris knows

OpenStudy (agl202):

For example: sin 30 = cosine 60 and so on. tan 25 = cot 65 sec 40 = csc 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you agl!

OpenStudy (agl202):

Lol, no problem!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
