are you on k12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

GCA yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you on Properties of Volume and Surface Area Quiz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o cuz i am

OpenStudy (igreen):

Find the scale factor again. 12 / 4 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok bye i am going back to my question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12/4=3

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yes, now multiply the volume of the smaller rectangular prism by 3. 3 * 24 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt it be 72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12/4=3 x 24= 72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or did i do it wrong

OpenStudy (igreen):

That's correct, 72 is your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you may you help me with the other one

OpenStudy (igreen):

Find the scale factor again. 125 / 27 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.62962962962963

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the other way around is 0.216

OpenStudy (igreen):

Oh wait..I did the first question wrong. It should be: \(\dfrac{1}{27} = \dfrac{24}{V}\) Cross multiply, what's 27 * 24?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

648

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yes, that's our answer..I believe your last question is also incorrect..and I'm not sure about this other one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where did 27 come from

OpenStudy (igreen):

27 comes from 1/27 We were supposed to do : 1/3^3 which is the same thing as 1/27

OpenStudy (igreen):

This is what we were supposed to do for your last question: 4320/VB = (12/8)^3 = (3/2)^3 = 27/8 27 VB = 8(4320) Now multiply 8 * 4320

OpenStudy (anonymous):

34560

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yes, now we divide 27 to both sides what's 34560 / 27? @Starr_DynastyT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1280

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yes, that's our answer for your first question.
