I tried to write a Thank-You e-mail to my Professor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -from my professor Dear G, Thank you for your email. Sure, I would be more than happy to co-supervise you. Have you done any reading on VO2? Best regards, A ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -from me Dear Prof. A I wanted to thank you for being willing to be my co-supervisor. So far, I've read some literatures about VO2 and formulated the form of the kinetic part of the hamiltonian for a system of VO2 by using the tight-binding method. I have attached my work to this email in case you would like to review it Best regards, G Is this okay?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Yes, this is good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oke thank you @KendrickLamar2014

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

No Problem

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

I would change the word "literatures" to something else like "information" Literatures is not correct grammar. Also i would change "formulated" ...as written it sounds awkward.

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

What do you really mean by "formulated the form..."?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean "finding the form of the kinetic part of the hamiltonian

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Tjbrew

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dear Prof. A I wanted to thank you for being willing to be my co-supervisor. So far, I've read some information about VO2 and found the form of the kinetic part of the hamiltonian for a system of VO2 by using the tight-binding method. I have attached my work to this email in case you would like to review it Best regards, G

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

I think that sounds fine now!! ;)

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

It reads well too!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

Absolutely!! I would have no problem sending that to my Professor!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aww, ok thank you so much @Tjbrew :)

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

You are very welcome!! ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how if i change "found" with "worked" ? Dear Prof. A I wanted to thank you for being willing to be my co-supervisor. So far, I've read some information about VO2 and worked the form of the kinetic part of the hamiltonian for a system of VO2 by using the tight-binding method. I have attached my work to this email in case you would like to review it Best regards, G

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@EclipsedStar @Tjbrew @KendrickLamar2014

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Hmm.. I think you should add "worked on". ;)

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Also, just a quick revisement. On the last sentence, "I have attached my work to this email in case you would like to review it " did you forget to add a period? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah thank you @EclipsedStar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you mean " I have attached my work to this email, in case you would like to review it " ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dear Prof. A I wanted to thank you for being willing to be my co-supervisor. Yes, so far, I've read some information about VO2 and worked on the form of the kinetic part of the hamiltonian for a system of VO2 by using the tight-binding method. eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

I'm sorry, I'm not sure by what you mean....XD

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Oh, before you end it? Before "Best Regards"...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean something like "Best regard". Is best regard enough to close the email?

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yes, or "Sincerely".

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Most people use "Sincerely". :)

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

It's up to you, either way is fine. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):
