I need my worked checked: Suppose you suddenly find yourself, without a space suit. The air pressure on the exterior of your body is zero. In your stomach there is a bubble of gas that is spherical and is exerting a pressure on you of 14.0 lb/in2. If the total pressure that the bubble exerts on you is 132 lb, what is it’s radius? The surface area of a sphere is 4πr2, where r is the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got r=.092 in. I assume that you dont need the info that exterior pressure is 0.

OpenStudy (alekos):

132 lbs will give you a total area of 132/14 sq in and r = sqrt(A/4pi)

OpenStudy (alekos):

I didnt get .092 in
