Here is the picture https://app125.studyisland.com/pics/252368num1.png This is the equation 1 cm=7.5 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then the smaller one https://app125.studyisland.com/pics/252368num1.png 1 c=15 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhh that helps!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea kind of lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets look at the model on the left first 1cm = 15ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the height is 17cm then we have 17cm = 255 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but we want the right triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The second triangle is you look at it is half the size of the first. 1cm = 7.5 ft....7.5 feet is half of 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In order to get the same triangle shaped garden we need 34cm = 255 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is 34cm...just double 17cm

Ok thank you!
