What did Frederick Griffith find in his work with pneumonia-causing bacteria and mice? All bacteriophages cause pneumonia in mice. The carbohydrate coat on bacteriophages causes pneumonia. A substance from the pathogenic cells was transferred to nonpathogenic cells, making them pathogenic. Heat-killed pathogenic cells caused pneumonia.
@Somy @pooja195
is it c or d @Somy
i dont know i gave you the link
i know and i dont kniw what one it is still
reread last two paragraphs
what is that
assesment
@Somy
Are you taking a quiz/test? like an exam
no homework
did u read the link i posted? if so can u say what it said there specially in last two paragraphs
just tell me what you read there in your own words
yes i read it the s strains were killled by heat and then the dead ws strains were put togeter with the r strains and the mice died (Transforming principal)
so i think the answer is d?
@Somy
good u got the point) but the options here i quite off =_=
i dont think its d
what do you think it is then? @Somy
heat killed pathogenic cells caused the non virulent bacteria to transform to virulent form (DNA recombination, to be specific - its called 'transformation') so it looks like C thought i dont know hmmm wait i have a good animation on this
so C?
i think so tho chances are it might be d
but well C is more reasonable for me
i think it is c then @Somy
