how many years older will you be 1 billion seconds from now.(assume a 365 day year.)

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

A = my age today in years The number of seconds in 1 Year is $$ S=365~{\cancel{days}\over years}\times24{\cancel{hours}\over \cancel{\cancel{day}}}\times60{\cancel{mins}\over \cancel{hour}}\times 60{seconds\over \cancel{min}} $$ \(S\) has units, seconds per year. So one billion seconds from now, my age will be $$ A+{1,000,000,000~\cancel{seconds}~\over S~\cancel{seconds}~per~year} $$ Hope this helps.

sammixboo (sammixboo):

It is about 32 years, so around 45-46
