OpenStudy (anonymous):
no thats the point. i found that in some math questions they give you info that is not neede at all
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
what is the number of apples you have today, if yesterday you had 40 apples, and today you bought 30 oranges ?
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yeah like SolomonZelman's question
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and idk lol
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
And same here,
2 + 5 = 7
(we know that, right ?)
and if you have some number "x" that is not related to the "2 + 5 , then regardless of what x is equal to, the value of "2 + 5" is 7.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
correct. you win
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
just like (another example from mathematics).
`you have a horizontal line y=4.`
then any point on this line will have a y-coordinate of 4.
And no matter what x is, y will be 4.

this way, for "x" equivalent to any possible number "a"
your point on the line y=4, will be (a,4)
