OpenStudy (dragons1415):

Why is it important for homologous chromosomes to line up together in meiosis, but not mitosis?

OpenStudy (dragons1415):

A. In meiosis, daughter cells are diploid; in mitosis, they are haploid and need to line up to separate correctly. B. In meiosis, daughter cells are diploid; in mitosis they are haploid and do not need to line up to separate correctly. C. In mitosis, daughter cells are diploid; in meiosis, they are haploid and need to line up to separate correctly. D. In mitosis, daughter cells are haploid; in meiosis, they are diploid and need to line up to separate correctly.

OpenStudy (dragons1415):

Want to say it's B, but I'm not positive .-.

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):
