What are the coordinates of the turning point for the function f(x) = (x - 2)3 + 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this a parabola function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it is not a parabola, the degree is 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the same idea appplies \((2,1)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 3 should be ^3 instead

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2 and 1 are the coordinates?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so here is a pic of your function graphed =)

And here is a link to a graphing calculator https://www.desmos.com/calculator

So with this info, I hope you can figure it out, I'm a little confused, because that is a weird parabola. I've never worked with one like this before =)
