HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so here's what I want you to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you plotted the points yet?

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

I use this really cool graphing calculator. https://www.desmos.com/calculator If you type in the points given, it'll graph the triangle. Once you're done with that, you'll need to know the length of the base of the triangle, and the height. Since the area formula of a triangle is \[ \frac{ b \times h }{ 2 }\] all you have to do is plug in the correct numbers.

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

And then solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formula for area of a triangle is 1/2 bh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait what ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plot the points and tell me what you find

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

You can graph the points on that calculator. When you've done that, figure out what the measurement of the base is and the length of the height

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

that's what the triangle looks like graphed. Can you tell me what the length of the blue sides are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 1 }{ 2 } b*h = \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }7*2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The rest is a cake-walk
