How many terms does the polynomial have? p3− 4pq2+q2− 3q 1 2 3 4 I don't know how to count terms. Can anyone help? Please don't give me the answer I just want to know how to count them!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[p^3 - 4pq^2 -3q\]

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

polynomial means more than 3 terms.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? How do I know what the terms are? Thats what I am confused about

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

p3− 4pq2+q2− 3q p3 = first term 4pq2 = second term q2 = thrid terms 3q = fourth term
