To me, it' s false. But its logic is ok. Hence I don't know how to conclude The whole expression is not wrong, but to induction, P1 stands for the basic case where only 1 number there, that is 1^2 instead of (2n -1)^2 like what it says. Again, to me, it is false

Loser66 I don't see why it's false. P1 simply means you replace every copy of n with 1 and simplify. They didn't simplify, but it still looks fine.
