For some jobs, “good enough” is good enough. That’s sometimes true in chemistry. More often, though, careful planning, calculations, measurement, and laboratory work are necessary to get the desired result. Imagine two tasks that would involve a chemical reaction of some sort. For one, measurement is not all that critical. For the other, careful stoichiometry and laboratory process is essential. Identify and describe two tasks (projects, operations, devices, etc.) that differ in this way.
For non-stoichiometrical experiment: You will basically make analysis and describe changes, as well as performing reactions, so you will need a piece pf paper, pen or pencil, ruler to draw tables and write. You might also need a stopwatch to evaluate the time taken for a reaction to fizz, change colour or whatever else... Polysterene cup and stirring glass to perform reactions. For stoichiometry: Paper, pen and calculator are crucial. As well as a thermometer, since you will base your calculations from temperature changes. Balances and beakers would aslo be important to measure weight and volume of the chemicals, respectively.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! @Hoslos
