OpenStudy (j.f):

Using a spinner divided into six segments, find P(multiple of 2 and an odd number) would this= P(multiple of 2)+(odd number)? if so would it be 3/6+X/6? Because I am not familiar with these

Sorry I don't get what you're saying...maybe @satellite73 can help...

The question is: Using a spinner divided into six segments, find P(multiples of 2 and an odd number).

Aww she's offline :(

I don't know I struggle with probability!?

Directrix (directrix):

multiple of 2 and an odd number. There is no spinner number that is both a multiple of 2 AND at the same time an odd number. So, I'd say that probability question has an answer of 0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really but I usually get it wrong lol :) So that's why I can't help :(

Directrix (directrix):

The probability of getting a result that is a multiple of 2 OR getting an odd number is additive and has a non-zero answer. Probability problems are notoriously poorly written which confuses everyone.

Well thanks
