3x+2y=7 y=-3x +11

OpenStudy (eli_moses):

\[3x+2y=7\] \[-3x\] from both sides \[2y=-3x+7\] \[\div 2y\] from both sides \[y=-1.5x+3.5\]

OpenStudy (eli_moses):

from there you combine both equations... \[y=-1.5x+3.5\] \[y=-3x+11\] combine in replace of y like so... \[-1.5x+3.5=-3x+11\]

OpenStudy (eli_moses):

from there you simplify to find x and once you found x you substitute it into one of the equations to get y do you need any more help in this question?
