OpenStudy (january123):

What do you think??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B.

OpenStudy (demonchild99):

tbh thts what i was thinking

OpenStudy (january123):

Hmm...I don't think so

OpenStudy (micahm):

oh, sorry, someone's at the door around two o'clock. is mass up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would say B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its not D?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

i think its D

OpenStudy (january123):

I think it is b too!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Confused, lets vote D or B.

OpenStudy (january123):

d

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

Definitely C because the sentence is fine with out that phrase.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

they'd meant to say 'I'll probably get to your house at 2 o'clock' but were interrupted by doorbell after saying 'house'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm very confused. Who says c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who says d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who says b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think its D

OpenStudy (welshfella):

D

OpenStudy (yolo_king):

I say C.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

- they would say oh sorry after the doorbell rang

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. I'm just going to put C and I will come back and tell you if it was correct. 20

OpenStudy (welshfella):

its a tricky one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know.

OpenStudy (january123):

YES but really...why did you pick c and why did we pick d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It seemed to make more sense. Than D just didn't make sense. @micahm said it is a mash up and i agree.

OpenStudy (january123):

okay so the answer...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Give me a second.

OpenStudy (january123):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 seconds.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is incorrect It was D. @january123 @welshfella @YOLO_KING @micahm @demonchild99

OpenStudy (january123):

Okay...do you understand why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No; can you explain?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

I was pretty sure it was D but not certain

OpenStudy (january123):

because the part "oh, sorry, someone's at the door" is its own thought and the "I'll probably get to your house around two" is also another thought. if you use d, and incorporate it into the sentence, you get: I'll probably get to your house - oh, sorry, someone's at the door - around two o'clock. which separates the thoughts, and makes a little more sense.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank-you everyone.

OpenStudy (january123):

Glad we got that up...Have a good day!☺
