OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

At first, when multiplying times a negative exponent you can flip the fraction and remove the negative from the exponent.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

after doing so, multiply exponent times 2.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

actually, just multiply the exponent everywhere times -2, and disregard what I previously said for now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its c @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

and in the denominator you are not multiplying the exponents times -2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is it c @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

it is not c. You can't just multiply the exponents times -2 on top and not on the bottom.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does D work @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

no

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

please go ahead and multiply every exponent in the parenthesis times -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh i get it now, its a @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

yes
