Hey buddy! Sorry, I was busy helping some people in math :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its okay :)

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Igneous rock is formed when lava from a volcanic eruption cools and hardens. Weathering and erosion breaks it down into smaller pieces, which ends up on a riverbed. Over time, the continued piling up of sediment forms sedimentary rocks, which slowly sinks into the earth. Heat and pressure below the earth's surface causes the sedimentary rock to change into metamorphic rock. Heat from the earth's mantle causes the metamorphic rock to melt and is carried to the earth's surface or underground pockets to cool and harden to form igneous rock. That was extremely long, but that's the gist of the rock cycle :P

Did that help, @geny55 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that include all the cycles?
