Which of the 5 is the topic sentence?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well a topic sentence is a sentence that expresses the main idea of the paragraph in which it occurs. It is mostly likely a sentence with a clear main idea but still need someone back-up info... So what do you think?

@H3LPN33DED

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@~*Ashtyn*~ My guess would be 3 because it really explains alot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, I don't think so... It has to much info. What you need to look for is a sentence that is a tad bland or plain :) 3 would most likely be a supporting sentence NOT a topic sentence ;) So try again...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have another guess...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Keep this in mind... A topic sentence is a one sentence summary of a paragraph's main point. It should directly relate to and support the essay's thesis. The thesis statement is the main point of your entire essay. So what do you think the thesis statement is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@H3LPN33DED ??? Uh... Where did you go lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@~*Ashtyn*~ 1???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, 1 is the thesis statement... So which one do you MOST supports it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@~*Ashtyn*~ Heading to lunch now xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok well it is 2... 2 is your answer :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Medal please ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or not :'(

Thanks <3
