A. 124
B. 97
C. 56
D. 51
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
I see angle A, B and C are labelled and there's even a quantity "x" but what is Z?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thats what im looking for
its one of the answers
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
But it doesn't even say what or where "Z" is.
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
It's like my asking if A=3 and B=28 what is C?

oh sorry the question is
Find the measure of angle ABC.
and i dont know how to do it
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
Okay let's start with
32 + 2x-15 + x -5 = 180
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yah
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
3x = 128
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how did you get that?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):
x = 42.6666666
So angle C = 2x -15
angle B = 2 * 42.6666666 -15
C = 70.3333333333
and B=77.6666666667
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
All angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees
32 + 2x-15 + x -5 = 180
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
So angle ABC should be angle B
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
Rechecking my arithmetic
32 + 2x + x = 200
3x = 168
x = 56
OpenStudy (wolf1728):
Angle B= x -5
= 56 -5
= 51
Angle C= 2x -15
Angle C = 97
97 + 51 + 32 = 180
