A large drought (no rain) in the American Midwest would reduce the amount of grain that farmers can grow. There would be less grain to sell. How would the drought affect the price of grain? The price of grain would not change. The supply of grain has nothing to do with the price of grain. The price of grain would go up. The price of grain would go down.
