@tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Looks like pretty clear instructions to me. Follow them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I multiply the numbers with the fraction and a variable?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like 4 times w over 4

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

\(4\cdot\dfrac{w}{4} = \dfrac{4}{4}\cdot w = 1\cdot w = w\)

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

While we're at it. \(4\cdot\dfrac{w}{2} = \dfrac{4}{2}\cdot w = 2\cdot w\) That's why we used a Common Denominator, so ALL the denominators would go away.
