Your paper includes a works cited list. Why is this fact alone not enough to avoid the accusation of plagiarism? Answer in complete sentences.

Do you know what a works cited is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its on odysseyware and there is nothing it is lieing.

OpenStudy (igreen):

Well, when you cite your works, you are giving the things you've taken credit to the publishers who made it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @iGreen

OpenStudy (testibuggg):

this is the quiation im on but anyways here - There could be improper citations - Lack of in-text citations - Not citing every source you used - Paraphrasing someone's words, but the paraphrase is nearly identical to original quote, not different enough to be considered your own words - Forgetting quotation marks - Not giving credit to all authors (if there are multiple contributors) - not fair use and you didn't ask permission of author (probably not going to apply to you, since educational purposes is considered fair use) there's a lot of reasons quite honestly, a lot of things constitute plagiarism
