My Answer:\[(-y^2 - 3y - 5) - (-3y^2 - 7y + 4)\]\[(-y^2) + (-3y) + (-5) + (3y^2) + (-7y) + (-4)\]\[(-1y^2 + 3y^2) + (-3y + -7y) + (-5 + -4)\]\[(2y^2) + (-10y) + (-9)\]\[2y^2 - 10y - 9\] My problem is that my answer is none of the answer choices, which means I must have done something wrong. Also, sorry for the wait, it takes a while to type a reply in LaTeX....

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

-10y is wrong and the rest are correct

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Its not (-3y + -7y) its (-3y + 7y)
