@bri_hall1999 If you have a huge group of people and you were looking for one person, you would you want to start looking for exactly that person, or remove as many other people as possible? Say we know the person we want is male. Do you want to start by removing all the females or by looking for something specific to the person of interest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confussed

The goal of a key is to allow a person to use characters to identify something. Would it be easier to start by grouping things into as large groups as possible and creating groups within groups, or by starting with a single individual and build up larger and larger groups? Keep in mind if you are using a key you don't know the identity of what you have.
