OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you do it? hahaha or outline it or something to get me started on the right tracks?

OpenStudy (kidrah69):

We dont help with test sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not a test its an essay, but the directions are poorly written, so i do not understand what i am suppose to write about.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do not really understand, what is it about, i can help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write a well-reasoned essay in which you respond to one of the following quotations. In your response, take a position (whether you agree or disagree) and use evidence from the story, real life, and one other short story or novel you have read to support your perspective. There is no right or wrong response; instead, your instructor will be evaluating your depth of thought and the strength of your evidence and explanations. these are the directions, i guess they are written alright but they are still vague and i do not understand what i should write about. aside from the quote i chose "Happiness does not depend on outward things, but on the way we see them."—Leo Tolstoy can someone please help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well my suggestion is that you try to read the quote a few time and list the important things to you, meaning making an list of ranking all about what is important to you and what is not important to you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that makes a little more sense. but they had us read the short story "How much land does a man need" or something and i am not sure if i'm supposed to relate the story to the quote somehow or what. lol that's what really confused me....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well i think that you can find what sticks out to you from the story, you can even relate it to real life, or any other situation that can take you to what you want to write about. Writing can mean evidence, but it can be any evidence so if you are able to explain the evidence that is so far so good on the path
