1. What is aperture priority mode? When might you use this mode on a camera?

Priority is pretty simple. That is what is seen as important. Do you know what the aperture is?
kindov...
aperture refers to the lens opening that allows us to control the amount of light that reaches the film or digital sensor. The wider the opening is, the more light enters the camera. The smaller the opening is, the less light enters the camera. Understanding the aperture settings and how they impact the size of this opening can mean the difference between a photograph that is over- or underexposed and one that has the perfect lighting sooo...
Yes. Now, lets say you have a very spcific depth of field you need to get in a shot. That means you must hav the f stop, aperature size, set at a fixed value. Right?
ya so how do i answer that question?
Well, if you have auto mode on, he camera can choose to change the shutter speed or the aperature size. But what if you need to maintain the aperature size?
Then you chose on camera setting s i think....
S is Shutter Speed is fixed/set/manual and aperature size is allowed to be chaged.
Ya i know ok soo..
So if S is Shutter Priority and A is Aperature Priority... they do opposite things.
okay so i will answer the question like this Aperture Priority Mode is (often it has a symbol of ‘A’ or Av’ to indicate it’s selected) In this mode you as the photographer sets the aperture that you wish to use and the camera makes a decision about what shutter speed is appropriate in the conditions that you’re shooting in
Yes. And you might add why you want a fixed aperature which is usually depth of field related.
okay.. Thanx @e.mccormick ur the best!
=) Have fun!
u too! <3
