Following World War II, internal migration flowed south and west as industries relocated. As a result, employment opportunities grew in the region known as the Sun Belt. Why did industries choose to move to this area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A-Economic instability in the old Rust Belt caused workers and businesses to lose faith in the region. B-States in the Sun Belt had a weak union presence, right-to-work laws, and lower taxes. C-Growing populations in the South meant a large, untapped market for manufactured goods. D-Better weather in the Sun Belt enticed agricultural industries by promising longer growing season

he Sun Belt is a region of the United States generally considered to stretch across the Southeast and Southwest (the geographic southern United States). Another rough boundary of the region is the area south of the 36th parallel, north latitude. The main defining feature of the Sun Belt is its warm climate with extended summers and brief, relatively mild winters. Within the Sun Belt areas of the U.S, deserts (Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas), Mediterranean (California), and humid subtropical (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee) climates can be found.
