I've told you to solve for when x=0 and y=0 , then what are your intercepts?

OpenStudy (domebotnos):

i dunno :( @shawmoes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Draw the equation y= -x +2

OpenStudy (domebotnos):

y= -1+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, please stop guessing. Refer to http://www.mathsisfun.com/equation_of_line.html

OpenStudy (domebotnos):

im being serious i have no idea @shawmoes

Read over that website, the question is very easy.

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

What is x and what is y in (x,y) |dw:1426728402940:dw|

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Here is a hint: |dw:1426728500006:dw|

OpenStudy (domebotnos):

omg i meant me i have no idea what is happening sorry >.<

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Regardless of how you my question, what is x+y if x is a number and y is another number according to your problem? Your problem is x + y = 2. I don't want to know what x is or what y is. Just what does x + y mean? It's just a sum. Right? And (x,y) is a point. That's it. So, if you take all the points (x,y) anywhere on this graph, ONLY those values (coordinates in this case) where the sum of x and y give you 2 are on that line: |dw:1426728890174:dw| Make sense?
