What is the point-slope form of an equation that passes through the point (-2, 4) and has a slope of 6? A. y - 4 = 6(x + 2) B. y - 2 = 6(x - 4) C. y + 2 = -6(x - 4) D. y + 4 = 6(x - 2)

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Point slope form is \[ y-y _{1}=m(x-x _{1})\] you have your points (x1,y1) and you have slope of m = 6, just plugging in at this point.
