Potential Difference for Circuit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The potential difference between points a and b is \[ V_{b}−V_{a} =V_{ba} = 5.00 V \] \[ V_{cb} = 3.60 V \] \[ V_{cd} =-1.50V\] \[ V_{df} =4.10 V\] What's the potential difference \[ V_{gf} , V_{ag} , V_{ca} \] Just need to know how to go about this question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to apply Kirshoff's rule for the closed loops here you can have 3 different loops: square, triangle, pentagon

OpenStudy (shamim):

U also need to apply chirchoff's current law too

OpenStudy (radar):

The voltage Vgf, appears to be 0 as there is very little drop across a conductor. the voltage Vac would equal the sum across the two series resistors that is parallel with it. 5 + 3.6 = 8.6 volts.

OpenStudy (radar):

Vag=8.6 - 1.5 + 4.1 = 11.2 or Vag + 8.6 -1.5 + 4.1 = 0 Vag =12.7 - 1.5 = 11.2
