@amistre64 @phi

OpenStudy (wade123):

it would be B right? vertical? i just wanna double check this because i left my book at my school

OpenStudy (amistre64):

when y=3, y'=0 so what type of line has a slope of zero?

OpenStudy (wade123):

horizontal

OpenStudy (amistre64):

correct, so we have horizontal lines at y=3 it cant be horizontal and vertical, and it cant be something that its not ....

OpenStudy (wade123):

SORRY misread that!

OpenStudy (wade123):

it would be A? horizontal only?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

thats what i would pick for it, yes :) A

OpenStudy (wade123):

the answer that it is showing me is 2 only, but why ?

OpenStudy (wade123):

why wouldnt it be horizontal like the other one? because they are both negative, just a different number

OpenStudy (amistre64):

when y-2, we are dividing by 0, the slope is undefined numerically what is the only line that has no definable slope?

OpenStudy (wade123):

ohhhh thats why it wold be vertical, makes so much more sense now (:

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yep :)

OpenStudy (wade123):

thank you so much again(: clears it up, i got so confused hahaha

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome
