OpenStudy (alexrobin13):

The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values in the set

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 31 and 50

OpenStudy (alexrobin13):

Those are the highest and lowest

OpenStudy (alexrobin13):

But range is the difference between the two

OpenStudy (alexrobin13):

So 50-19

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

wait...you do not want range...you want interquartile range....that is Q3 - Q1. Here is your data : 31,33,35,41,43,46,48,49,49,50 the median (Q2) -- middle number -- is (43 + 46) / 2 = 89/2 = 44.5 Q1 = 35 Q3 = 49 so interquartile range is Q3 - Q1 = 49 - 35 = 14 now if you just wanted the range, it would be highest minus lowest..50 - 31 = 19

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 14 is the answer
