Ok, do you know how much money each person had?
Sadly nope
Well, it said that they all started with the same amount of money but each bought from a different table. At first I guessed they had $15, but found that they each had $20.
Oh good go on :D
So how do I figure it out?
Let's solve which table Arielle bought items from first. Table A - $1.25, Table B - $1.35, and Table C - $1.50. Subtract 6.50, the amount of money she got back, by 20. What do you get?
$13.50
Ok, good. She bought 10 items, multiply the prices from the tables by 10 to find 13.50 as your answer.
Table B
Good! Does that make sense?
Yes, yes it does thank you so much!
You're welcome!
